Anna Karenina

By Sergio Solís.

Anna Karenina is a masterpiece written by Leo Tolstoy in 1877. Leo Tolstoy is a Russian author who is considered one of the best authors in world literature. His major works are War and Peace and Anna Karenina. Anna Karenina reflects the Russian society and the different social classes which it consisted of, like the story of Ana, a woman who has a son with Aleksei called Sheroiza. But Anna falls in love with a count named Vronsky. Moreover his brother, called Stiva, has cheated on his wife with the governess of her children. I will not tell you more, because you have to read the book yourself, but you do not have to be scared of its thousand pages because this book is a very fast read. In my opinion, this book is essential in literature, but, if you’re not going to read it very happily, leave it aside for a few years. It can have quite cultured and hard to understand language if you do not have much language, but if you are brave, go and read it!
